ERIC is an online library of training analysis and information, sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Division of Schooling. The editors purpose to realize a strategic steadiness among the many areas of preservice and in-service instructor schooling follow, policy, and analysis, bringing those areas to bear on one another in difficult and productive ways. They offer a forum for diverse work of teacher schooling researchers (university and non-university based), teacher training practitioners (e.g., college, state, district, group faculty), and policy makers at all levels. Linking analysis and follow is paramount of their imaginative and prescient for the JTE.
